Our mission
At Scanagri we work with the key issues of our time within food, agriculture, rural development, environment and natural resource management. We provide project cycle management services and technical assistance to support sustainable social, environmental and economic development.

Our background
The present Scanagri Group is built on the expertise of a number of individual agricultural consulting companies in Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Poland, some with working experience since 1975.

As of 2004, the Scanagri Group is fully owned by NIRAS Group A/S. This provides us with a solid financial foundation and gives our clients access to a comprehensive resource base of up-to date expertise within agricultural and forestry production and processing technologies, rural livelihood development and institutional building.

Our services
We provide management, training, planning and technical advise aiming at:

• fostering and enabling environment for broad-based and sustainable rural growth
• enhancing agricultural productivity and competitiveness
• encouraging non-farming economic growth
• improving social well-being, managing and mitigating risk as well as reducing vulnerability
• enhancing sustainability of natural resource management

At Scanagri we successfully combine in-house technical and administrative knowledge with the practical and business oriented experience from the versatile Scandinavian agricultural and forestry organisations, members and commercial companies. Our external experts span from Arla Foods, Danish and Swedish meat organisations, agricultural advisory services, to Svalöf Weibull, etc. and all play an active role in the implementation of Scanagri projects.
